回复 :一次意外使得干探于子朗（郭晋安 饰）具有了通灵的能力，能感应死去的冤魂传递给他的点点滴滴的信息。子朗本来就精明能干，这下更是如虎添翼，屡破奇案。才华出众的他却受到了上司的嫉妒，于是借口特别凶案调查组的上司准备退休，到那里很快就能升职将他调到了那个警局神憎鬼厌的部门，D. I.E.。与此同时，Madam 刑（郭羡妮 饰）因为过于想表现自己而屡屡闯祸，结果遭到多方投诉而被上司打发到了D.I.E.。Madam 刑和子朗来到这里都发现这里的人十分奇离古怪，由于两人都一心想着接替即将提休的上司的位置，于是两人结成了冤家，展开了一番明争暗斗。幸好随后两人握手言和，子朗更是暗恋上了Madam 刑，两人一起携手为那些沉冤待雪的冤案伸张正义。
