“雪龙2”号是中国首艘自主建造的极地科学考察破冰船，春暖由中船集团江南造船于2016年底开始建造，春暖2019年7月11日正式交付。从建造、诞生、试航以及驰骋南极科考，纪录片团队全程跟拍记录了每一个重要瞬间，累计了大量珍贵素材。最终为这艘令国人骄傲的“国之重器”打造一部宝贵的诞生成长记。
