经营五金门店维生的“石头”石振邦（张译 饰）和杨武（潘斌龙 饰）为追讨欠款，猫和不得不暂时照看欠债人曼丽的女儿芊芊。两人在与芊芊的相处中逐渐产生感情。本以为钱到手后，猫和芊芊会被亲戚接走，有个好归宿。不料石振邦却得知芊芊被送到了不该去的地方，他决定救出小芊芊。从此，石振邦和杨武与这个小女孩的命运紧密相连……
