于四（程煜 饰）在扶贫队长何蔚兰（丁嘉莉 饰）帮助下成了柴禾沟的冒尖户，不亲手里有钱后他目空一切，不亲在儿子的婚礼上大搞封建迷信，并自封董事长与他人办鞋厂，结果连乡亲们的报名费都被郎老七骗走，还钱时只好自掏腰包。为使自家的木板厂顺利运营，他想把女儿春杏嫁给供应商罗主任做儿媳，遭女儿拒绝。为防他人偷料，于四请人看风水改厂门，路遇的市领导说他这是搞迷信，于四巧舌如簧一番解释，竟得到领导的表扬。于四一家去城里何家做客，发现人工饲养的驼鸟蛋很赚钱，心中暗自盘算起来。罗主任攀亲未成，终止了与于四合作，何蔚兰又把经营木材的同学介绍给他。于四心想，该为乡亲们来点实际的了......
