多年前，守护一个叫思梵的梵净山女人离开了家乡，守护从此杳无音讯。多年后，一个叫林溪的城市女孩来到梵净山拍摄短片。她遇到了在梵净山抬滑竿的老巫、小巫父子。一场大雨挡住了三人上山的脚步，他们在山脚下的凉亭里避雨，各自讲起了出现在自己生活中的一个女人的故事。三段故事讲完。三人惊讶地发现他们故事中的女人明明有着不一样的生活，却仿佛有着千丝万缕的关系。每个人都开始暗自揣测，这三个故事中的女人是同一个人吗？他们看到的又是这个女人真实的生活吗？这究竟是生活的原貌？还是女孩林溪笔下的一个故事？生活中总是充满未知和疑惑。

回复 :根据刘富道短篇小说《南湖月》改编。星火化工厂是个街道小厂，因扩大生产，需改装大锅炉。该厂技术员柯亭为此十分着急。一天早晨，柯亭站在湖畔，搜寻着他要找的一位骑自行车的姑娘，可是他认错了，只好扫兴而归。柯亭为什么要找那位姑娘呢？原来，他们俩有过一段有趣的邂逅。在一次紧张而又完全无心的赛车之后，姑娘的车坏了，她来到湖畔修车补胎处要修车，结果又遇上了与她赛车的柯亭。柯亭好心地帮助姑娘修车，一直修到晚上，仍未修好。柯亭让姑娘骑他的车先回家，又把姑娘的车带回家去修好，使姑娘非常感动。第二天，二人换车时，姑娘知道了星火化工厂急需大锅炉的情况，主动提出可以帮助柯亭打听购买锅炉的事，柯亭十分高兴，二人匆匆离去，都忘记了打听对方的姓名。两次见面，双方都互有好感，柯亭的参谋爱打听和那位姑娘苑霞的参谋黎露，为他们双方的进一步了解，积极出谋划策。在他们的帮助下，柯亭和苑霞终于又在湖畔见面。苑霞邀请柯亭到她家去，说是了解所需锅炉的具体规格，其实是想带柯亭去见见自己的父母。苑霞的父亲是宏兴包装材料厂的副厂长，恰是爱搞关系户的领导。当他知道柯亭所在工厂是街道小厂，油水少时，就一反开始谈话时的热情态度，冷嘲热讽起来。这使柯亭自尊心受到伤害，对苑霞也产生了误解，愤然离去。第二天，柯亭到宏兴包装材料厂揭发了这件事情，得到了该厂韩厂长的支持和鼓励。韩厂长得知当天晚上苑副厂长要去无锡关系户那儿处理锅炉，便赶至苑副厂长家，对他进行了批评和帮助。苑霞和她的参谋黎露双双来到星火化工厂，向柯亭道歉。这时传来宏兴包装材料厂决定将锅炉支援给该厂消息，大家十分振奋，一首歌颂社会主义协作精神的欢乐歌曲在湖畔荡漾，柯亭和苑霞又见面了。

The long shots utilized by director of cinematography Han Hyung-mo to capture the beautiful scenery of the mountain temple from a distance received great critical acclaim at the time. Also, each of the film's characters is convincingly portrayed through the skillful direction of Yoon Yong-kyu.
