回复 :東中野の一角にある「東中野ムーンロード」は、昭和の趣を残す飲食店街。そこに小さな頃から父親に連れられて出入りしていた仙は、この街を人を愛し、夫の秀と毎夜のように訪れている。仙の名前は江戸時代に大変人気のあった茶屋娘の笠森お仙から取ったという父との二人きりの生活は裕福とは言えないが楽しいものだった。しかし、父は仙が中学を卒業する頃、桜を愛でながら一杯やる夢もかなわず病に倒れたのだった。その桜は伐採の危機に直面していた。住民に充分な説明もなく工事に取り掛かろうとする行政側に対して、阻止しようと矢面に立って戦っているのは、店のママ・歌子だ。仙も志を同じくして反対運動に参加しているが、行政側にその熱意が通じているとは言い難い。そんな思いに駆られて日々を送っている仙を優しくサポートするのが秀だった。ふたりを見守るのは、酒を人を愛してやまない桜田さんだ。彼は以前は見ない顔だったが、気がつくとそこにいたといった体で溶け込んでいた不思議な人物だった。どうも記憶が欠落しているらしかったが、何かしら東中野に縁があるのだろう。仙は彼を父親のように接していた…。
