故事发生在我国古代。花振芳（马凤良 饰）告示天下，免费比武招亲。谁若打败女儿花碧莲（李琳 饰），免费就许配其为妻。各路英杰纷纷与花过招，均被花打下擂台。花碧莲决定带侍女金花（徐琳 饰）云游江湖、走访天下。一日，她俩遇见风流倜傥的江南笫一剑骆宏勋（贾平 饰）。栾彪（王响伟 饰）久闻花碧莲色艺双绝，一直暗自追踪窥视，正待解衣宽带的花碧莲误认偷看者为骆宏勋，飞身出门与之交手，后冰释前嫌。栾彪唆贺世赖（李斗 饰）滋事至花受伤暂居栾家，乘机向花提出成亲要求。但花早已对骆一见钟情，后知骆已订婚，花仍不绝念想。栾彪见状，心生歹意......
