本片讲述的一个女孩清泉总是臆想着身边有人，拳精通过盗梦酒吧寻找到了盗梦者帮她一探究竟。在寻找真相的过程里，拳精小米和钱程发现原来清泉是双胞胎，因为一次意外清流在九岁的时候出了车祸。而母亲在这个时候确认为清泉没有死去的妹妹听话懂事，清泉的心里开始模仿妹妹清流，一直扮演着妹妹的角色。在盗梦者的努力下帮助清泉解开了心结，而盗梦者又再一次踏上了盗梦的旅程。

Charlie considers suicide, is talked out of it by a policeman, and later throws his girl's friend into the lake. Frightened, the girls go off to a movie. Charlie shows up there and flirts with them. Later both rivals substitute themselves for the girls and attack the unwitting Charlie. In an audience-wide fight, Charlie is tossed from the screen.
